When you go out of the city, the sight of Uuji (Sugarcane) field will jumping to you. Uuji is one of the biggest crops in the farm products. Usualy, it grows up up to 4 or 5-meter and weights 1.5 or 2.0kg. Moreover, because of its strength, it resists natural disaster especially typhoon in Okinawa. Recently, however, the feature that it needs large area and mass production causes farmers decreasing.
